    This Monday, July 4th, we celebrate America’s 235th Birthday! In the words of Thomas Jefferson written so eloquently in the Declaration of Independence may we always…..”hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

    May we remember and never forget all the men and women who fought and are fighting today to ensure our freedom so we can continue to be the greatest nation on earth. Also, may we never abandon the principles and courage of our founding fathers. God bless America!

    MEMORIAL DAY 2011

    This holiday weekend, let us take time from our busy lives to pause and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country so that we may live in freedom. May those of us who remain never forget to remember, honor and respect our service men and women for their unselfish patriotism. God bless our Troops and God bless America!

    March 31 marks the arrival of baseball in Cincinnati. You won’t want to miss all the festivities beginning at 11:00 AM with the 92nd Findlay Market Opening Day Parade then on to the ball park for the opening pitch. A special thanks to all the volunteers who make the parade possible. GO REDS!

    ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

    Commissioner Chris Monzel invites everyone to celebrate the 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 12. Parade starts at 1:00 PM at the corner of Main and 3rd Streets and procedes up Main to Fifth Street pass the reviewing stand to Elm Street and ends on Second Street. “Celebrating Irish Heritage” is the parade theme. Be sure to bring the family and chairs so all can enjoy the Irish music and the wearing of the green.

    Please join us on election night for a Victory Party at the Taft Center, located inside, next to the Westin, above FedEx Kinkos, and directly across from Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati. Doors open at 8:30 pm.
